This is from this past Monday, December 30. Weather was sunny, with temp about 2-3 degrees celsius.

Northern Pintail

Clark's Grebe
Pied-billed Grebe
Bufflehead
California Gull
Northern Harrier
Common Goldeneye
American Wigeon
Bald Eagle
Black-billed Magpie
Red-winged Blackbird
American Goldfinch
Canada Goose
Mallard
Red-tailed Hawk

I also had Bufflehead over here in England last week.

Unfortunately it was in a local wildfowl sanctuary!!!

Brian, if you don't have a Bufflehead, I've got some good pics from the Arctic diving Ducks tank at the San Diego Zoo.

Thank you all for your comments. I am still trying to get a Male Bufflehead photo. That head on shot at the zoo is great, but you also have to see a profile of it.
