There's a feeding station at the main visitor centre on Marquis Drive. Usually a reliable spot for Brambling. The following link should help you find the visitor centre

the one at fredas grave wherelast years hawfinch was is pretty good. had plenty of commoner things coming pretty close and feeding on the floor in the open. cracking views of yellowhammers there while i froze waiting for that hawfinch. can find directions if you need them, but i think punching freedas grave cannock chase into google will pretty much find it for you. also had a group of deer walk right infront of the car on my way there.

im feeling generous
http://www.cannockchasedc.gov.uk/dow.../chasemap2.jpg that should be a map to the chase, might need to click on it and zoom in. freda grave is.....on the left hand side of the map, about 1/3 of the way down it should say Brocton, from there a road (chase road) runs south east away from the village and towards a little triangle of car park signs. fredas grave is the sign in the right hand corner of that triangle. as you go down chase road Fredas grave is actually sign posted off to the left (little brown wooden sign) take that turn and the feeding station is on your right as you enter the car park. just so you know, after you take the turn off chase road is where i saw the deer earlier this year, well worth driving slowly and keeping an eye out for them. if you need any more directions just ask. adam
