Cyprus in summer
What can be seen in cyprus (troodos forest etc.) at the end of August while not birding?

Hi Falcon, I've attached a link to my trip report from last Aug. Allthough it was mainly a birding trip, many of the species seen can be seen whlie not intensivly birdwatching. The main attraction at this time of year though is the Demoiselle Cranes at Akrotiri...Were will you be based? http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=157614

Thanks for the link, an excellent report which greatly helped my knowledge of cypriot birds. We will go to troodos forest, pedoulas, jelephos range, limasol, nicosia and kykkos. We will be stating at pedoulas.
