Kingbird ID SE Texas USA
I saw this kingbird in Freeport today. I am guessing a Western Kingbird?
Thanks, Lyndon |

I didn't want to start another topic but I forgot these sparrows. This is the last one I promise.

Several Western Kingbirds were reported at Quintana Neotropical Bird Sanctuary, near Freeport on Friday, so I would say that your guess is correct! All the fieldmarks point to Western for me.
I think they are both Clay-colored Sparrows. Last edited by HelenB : Monday 26th April 2010 at 03:41. Reason: sparrow id |
