RSPB Guide to Birdwatching: A Step-by-step Approach
Anyone own the "RSPB Guide to Birdwatching: A Step-by-step Approach (Rspb)" by Mike Unwin. I wonder if it is a good starting book for beginner who know nothing about bird.
Any other suggestions? Last edited by linkahwai : Friday 30th April 2010 at 09:26. |

Getting to grips with young gulls
|
I have it and have read it, but am trying to remember it - I have another one that is similar (published by the Wildlife Trusts) and in my memory I can't distinguish them!
If I remember, I'll try and look at it on Monday when am back home then (Bank Holiday here in the UK this weekend, so am not at home). I do recall however that I thought both books were good and useful from a starters point of view, especially from a UK (or northwest European) point-of-view.
