Northern Cardinals in SC
I have seen and heard more Northern Cardinals in my area this spring than I can ever remember. Any speculation as to why they are so nemerous this spring. They are one of my favorite birds.

I've also easily got a couple of dozen males and females and now a bunch of juvies as well but I've also had a fairly good number over the years. I guess with as much food as they get, they decide to stick around

Unfortunately, I don't avail myself to the beach as much as I should.
