Hundred quid camera recomendations?
Once again i am strugling with my Canon 590is. It over exposes, the zoom sticks and wont let me shoot(although i have just fixed that once again)...not to mention seeing anything on screen in bright light. In short it is on its way out and as a result i am doing less and less photography.
I thought i might replace it with some cheaper kit...price being an issue at the moment i thought some thing about £100 or less. I was over the water the other day having a browse through a camera shop but of course they had no practical expierience of digiscoping and could offer little advice. The array of cameras was a bit daunting to say the least and being a bit reluctant to dive in and purcase with fingers crossed i thought i would ask the good folks here for their opinions of the cheaper end of the market. |

well, i have used a fuji f40 for some time and maybe something like that or maybe an update such as the f50 or f60, but you may well have to search for a decent price, but they certainly are a good little camera,
I did think of this fuji which is on offer at tesco, http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-2407.aspx but im not entirely sure how the 4x zoom would work with digiscoping. Hope i have been of some use. |

dafi I know how you feel, my setup is on the cheap side altogether and I also struggled to find a cheap camera.
It also comes down to your scope some cameras hate some scopes and refuse to work together. If you state your scope and anything else, Me or others can probably help you more |

Hi Dafi
You don't say what eyepiece you have but for under a hundred pounds the Rollei camera that I posted here could be worth a look though few places stock it. It has been superseded by the Rollei Compact line 110 10 megapixel model which looks identical. I plan to get one from Germany as it's cheaper there. Nev |

I have the A590IS and my biggest complaint is the low resolution LCD. Why don't you try draping a dark cloth (like I do) over your head and the camera to avoid sun glare on the LCD?
