Pileated Woodpecker
The Pileated Woodpecker may be my favorite (not to be confused with favourite) North American bird and this is a beautiful flight shot. I've actually seen the almost identical image in my yard, but have never been able to get a decent photo of it. Luckily, even though FF and AF no longer post here, without too much effort you can still find their nice work in cyberspace.
