Question Help to ID a all white possible escaped exotic in California

I spotted a bird 2 days ago that really caught my attention. I can't seem to identify it with my "north american bird species "book..my guess is it is escaped exotic. Sorry no photo was taken...Here is the discription:
It was completely white..with a spectacular blue throat. it's tail was long like a "flycatcher". It's beak was yellow and somewhat like a parrot's in shape. It was larger than a dove and it's body was somewhat long.It did not seem to have a crest of any kind on it's head. Sorry i did not note the eye color. It flew from an open grassy field and landed in a large conifer tree next to my house.
Thanks for any help you all can give me.

Excluding the white part your description reminds me of a Crimson Rosella and I certainly wouldn't put it past parrot breeders to produce a white version that retains the blue cheeks.

The size has me a little baffled but it sounds like a budgie which are common avairy birds and great escapees. California climate would be just about perfect for an escapee to survive in the wild. Did it look anything like this?
