White breasted robin?

Not a regular bird watcher but ater searching the internet , the bird I saw this morning , may I think ,be a white breasted robin.

I saw this by the Eden river in Cupar. If you have any local members perhaps you can advise and I can give them a nearer location

Look forward to your advice

Jim

Hi Jim and a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators.

What lead you to believe it was a White-breasted Robin? Did you get a photo or can you give a description of what you observed.

We have a few members in Fife, you'll find Edenwatcher in this thread.

All things Scottish can be found HERE.

Keep an eye on the Scottish Bash Discussion thread We usually have a few each year and they are all great fun. You'd be most welcome to join us if you can manage.

I'm not sure what you mean by a White-breasted Robin, Jim. There's a White-breasted Robin found in Australia, but I don't think you're going to find one in Cupar.

Do you mean a Dipper, like this one?
