Help me out with this small wading bird

This is in Winston-Salem NC at Salem Lake.

I can't see it good enough to look up in the field guide. The closest thing it looks like, is a least bittern, but I'm not sure if that's it.

Least Bitterns are quite secretive and usually don't perch in the open like this. Your pictures are only silhouettes, so it's hard to be certain, but the bird looks most like a Green Heron to me - a common heron that will sit out in the open like this. BTW, I'm unsure if pic 152 is the same bird as 153, 4, and 5. My comments apply to 153, 4, and 5.

Least Bitterns are rarely out in the open lik that. My first gues would be a Little Green (Green-backed) Heron, or maybe a Little Blue Heron.
