Photo Guides Source?
You have very steady hands to photograph the screen for so long.
The two bird guides you showed appeared to be filed on your iPad under 'Photos' rather than 'eBooks'. Do they sell a version of the guides as a collection of photos?

I would be interested if anybody used ipad in the field for the longer time without breaking it.
Otherwise, a video of angry birder knocking the malfunctioning ipad would be more fun  |
