6June micros for ID, please

The hedges are alive with....
But these little micros are v. hard to photograph.
I got a couple that might be idable. (I take it that the middle one isn't a small dotted buff --it's wing span was only about 12mm in it's resting posture.)
Plus a carpet which I think is common.
Ken

Have a look at Straw Dot in Waring for no 2 - nearly didn't bother with that when I got it in my trap last year and was ignoring micros...

#1 Crambus lathoniellus, grass pyralid, had me wondering, not a form I'm familiar with
#2 Straw Dot Macro!! Nocuid. Ground colour much darker than normal here.
#3 Silver Ground Carpet, certainly plenty here and quite veriable.

Just check out that Straw Dot, the colour looks quite odd, though not a odd as that Small Dotted Buff.

Sleep deprivation!! I thought he meant abundant by the word "common" I don't think I even looked at big picture. As for Silver ground Carpet, they're everywhere here. Don't get many in trap but easily get to double figures on a short walk.

Speaking of double figures, at least 12 Silver Y while dusking tonight.
