IDing Juvenile Birds
I've been seeing a lot of what I assume are juvenile birds the past couple weeks and I've been having a bit of trouble identifying them. Are there any books (or websites) out there that are really good and helping identify juvenile birds? Does anyone have some suggestions on how to better identify juveniles?

There are so many stages of juveniles (from chicks to 2nd year gulls & eagles) that it'd be a challenge unless the author were to concentrate on a specific area or family of birds. I do know, for example, that specialty books for, say, warblers (e.g. the Peterson Warbler Guide) show fledged juveniles for each N.A. warbler species. Sibley's shows many juvenile plumages, but not nearly enough for me, and not always accurately (for example, Sibley Western illustrates the juvenile Verdin incorrectly, as they have yellow-ish beaks).
