Redshank-but Black legs!!!!

A friend of took this shot a couple of days ago ,in an area where there were Redshanks,but this bird has not red legs.
Anyone any idea please,as to the ID,

Thanks all.we did think along the Godwit,track,but he seemed to be too small for a Godwit,and I thought thay they had longer tail feathers.
