San Antonio, Texas ID - flycatcher and sparrow

Was walking a park in north San Antonio yesterday called Stone Oak Park and had a few birds that I'd like some comments on their ID. Although this was late in the afternoon and the sun was out brightly in the "wrong" place for my shots, I'm hoping someone with more experience can give me some insight into this flycatcher type and sparrow.

Thanks

---ruben

My best guess on the sparrow is a Vesper. Face pattern don't quite look right though.

With the orangey loral area and scaled pattern to the mantle - I think Grasshopper Sparrow. Nice.

Thanks for the replies. The consensus of Say's Phoebe and Grasshopper Sparrow is what I've received from some birding folks in SA also. Glad for the feedback.
