Sites in Dubai
I am spending a week in Dubai this January (staying in Al Safa 1). I have already read on up many trip reports so I will certainly be calling in at Safa Park, Mushrif Park, Pivot Fields and Ras Al Khor. Three queries though:-
1) Is Al Warsan still worth a look and does anyone have precise directions? 2) Is anything of interest ever seen off the coast? 3) Are there any other suitable sites within a relatively short drive (am going with my non-birding girlfriend but dont want to test her patience too much). Particularly interested in Crab Plover or desert specialities sites. Many thanks in advance Phil |

Phil - where did you get your trip reports and which ones were the most useful? I will check out the places you mentioned above. Which of these sites did you find the best. I will be going at a much better time for migrants; will this mean visiting anywhere different? Any advice appreciated Tom

Have been at the Els Golf Club.
Not bad, but I wasn't overly impressed either. Not enough trees & water for many birds, I guess.
