Britain Goes Wild location

On Britain goes Wild in one of the pre-recorded bits Simon King visited a location on, I think, the east coast of Scotland (I don't mean Bass Rock). He was filming migratory birds feeding up for their journey - I didn't catch the name of the place. Can anyone tell me where it was? I'd be much obliged,

Cheers, Kim

It was the Ythan Estuary, about 15 miles north of Aberdeen. Follow A90 north turn onto the A975 for a couple of miles until you come to the Ythan Hotel (outskirts of Newburgh) turn right, park by the golf course and walk N for 200yards and there you are!
Really good for waders and sea duck (used to be a regular King Eider there until a few years ago) also not bad for migrants in the autumn.
