Compact 300mm DX Lens.
Hellow birdforum,
I am considering the Nikon 55-300mm DX VR lens (picture angle as 450mm full frame), for lightly encumbered bird photography; has anybody tried one? Regards, John Bolton. |

Hi John,
Welcome to Birdforum! I dont have any experience with the lens in question, but cant speak highly enough of the 70-300 vr which is very underrated in my opinion.D90 70-300vr. Mark |
