Bird seen in Tanzania
I saw this bird at Ngorongoro National Park on December 24, 2009.
It has a white beak, black and brown back, greyish chest, black tail, black feet, and an orange stripe on each wing.
I pored over http://www.tanzaniabirds.net but couldn't find a similar bird.
Any help in identifying this bird would be greatly appreciated!

Hello and welcome to Birdforum
Your bird is a Fan-tailed (aka Red-shouldered) Widowbird. It's a male in between breeding and non-breeding plumage.
Here is the male in breeding colours: http://www.birdquest.net/afbid/birds...&af_bs_id=2281
And here it is in non-breeding: http://www.birdquest.net/afbid/birds...&af_bs_id=2281
