Binocular cleaning kit ?

Being new to birding and binoculars in general , is there some cleaning kit that may be worth getting?I have the nikon HGs and currently use bit of water now an then and a cotton cloth (type used for glasses).Is there anything else that may be useful that i dont know about?.

tap water is fine in the real world.....

t shirt or shirt sleeve is ok too

just don't use an impregnated lens cloth.

less may be better

Do not use the cotton cloth either. Parts of your clothing may have dirt or grit which can abrade the optics. Use a special lens cloth or lens tissue. It is possible to clean too much, resulting in "cleaning marks."
