Herring Gull? Dundee, Scotland.

Spotted this gull yesterday when heading home after photographing a lovely young female model at City Quay, Dundee. Took a couple of photos, though they are all very similar. I assume it is just a Herring Gull moulting between plumages, but the dark eye, lack of white mirrors on the wingtips and the tri-coloured beak wasn't a combination I could recall seeing before. Can anyone confirm my suspicions, please?
