The Neighbour ? Now this is funny

Some of you may have read that my neighbour was concerned by my feeders and the mess the birds would create,

http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=19666

Well on Saturday morning Mr Blackbird woke me early. Anyway upon looking out into the garden I saw a number of Sparrows and my first ever garden Great Tit. The tit eventually hopped into next store to join another one and then hopped on a feeder my NEIGHBOUR has hung up in her garden!!

Is it me or is there a degree of hypocrisy here?

You've obviously converted your neighbours. They'll be regulars on BirdForum before you know it . . .

Pete

Could very well be someone who has perhaps is a member or has lurked on BF and seen the suggestions offered on your previous posting on this subject!.

And thought

"Discretion is the better part of valour", or something similar!.

Perhaps she just decided that since she has to put up with the mess, she might as well have the pleasure of their company???

I fill the feeders by the '2 scoops' method...
1 in the feeder and 1 over the fence into a neighbours garden.
I'm gradually creating an 'ALL OVER OASIS' of seed bearing plants...
and the birds are loving it!!!
Recent highlights...a flock of LTT and a few Goldfinch...v.nice.

Dave.

Perhaps your neighbour's hoping to re-route your birds away from the washing line.

Maybe the kids are just like me when I was a kid and complained the slide was too grippy?

She's probably just decided 'if you cant beat em, join em!!' Well done though, you've obviously sparked some kind of interest there. Watch out - She'll be asking if she can come birding with you next!!
