Portugal, Algarve - bright yellow bird
We were at the Sao Lonrenco lake at Quinta do Lago today and saw the bird pictured. A lady thought it was a black-headed bunting, but 1) it should not be there and 2) the black mask looks wrong compared to Collins'. Could of course be some escaped hybrid between red-headed and black-headed.
Any other suggestion?

Black-headed weaver I think, escaped cage birds that have colonised the area.
