Hello Benji,
I don't think there have been any books published in the 'West' on Chinese Odonata or Lepidoptera since before WW2. After that China became almost totally closed to westeners visiting at least until recently. There may well be something that has been published in China, but to find out what may be available, you may have to contact a Chinese Natural History Museum. It is likely there is something available relating to the insects of Formosa, but again you would have to enquire there. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Harry

An afterthought just occurred that there may be something available on the insects of Hong Kong or even Macau when they were British and Portugese protectorates. You would have to do a Web Search to find any that are available.
