Viscacha in Northern Chile?
This photo of a Viscacha from Lauca NP in Chile shows an animal I am uncertain about, because it seems that both Northern and Southern M Viscacha should be in that area according to maps on The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species(tm) page. So am I correct in assuming Southern?
thanks Niels

I would say Southern Mountain Viscacha L. viscacia.
