What is the relationship between the 2 species?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ytXW3SLSubY&NR=1

The first link makes Skimmers look very brutal but this link makes them look victims.

Nah. Skimmers are pretty harmless with their skimming. But then I saw this.

It seems to all be juvenile/immature (1cy-2cy?) birds that are the frequent victims. Is this a pattern or a coincidence? (I notice later on their are some adults though)

Don't Laughing Gulls also rob Black Skimmers? Maybe they are getting their own back.
EDIT: The above sentence is what is shown in the previous post on the egg-raid video.
