Great Spotted Woodpecker - 2011 Updates
Hi there,
Are there any updates re: Great Spotted Woodpeckers in Ireland this year? Are they spreading West and North? Where can they be observed? VJ |

Heard a talk by Niall Hatch of Birdwatch Ireland last week and I think he said 9 pairs now on east coast, but gave no more details. Wouldn't post locations on here anyway.

There is a nature programme on TG4 next Tuesday and there is a small piece in it about the Great Spotted Woodpecker in Ireland. Ger.
