Have I got a Graden Carpet?

I accidentally disturbed this moth from the porch and the best match I can muster is Garden Carpet. Am I correct?

Well Andrew,
I think you may well have a Garden Carpet...unless the Graden Carpet is a new species for Devon and the world. :-)))).

Thanks guys. I went through a process of elimination using the markings but the three ovals joined together on the wing are not so prominent as in Waring & Townsend. I feel proper chuffed to have got it right.

They did! Or at least they tried to.... see post #2.
And, by the way, when are these queer moths going to be posted (see the intro to the butterfly and moth ID section.... for moth and butterfly queeries).
