Massachusetts - Red-tailed or Red-shouldered Hawk?
Assume this is a Red-tailed Hawk, but the face and head looks to me more like a Red-shouldered Hawk. It was also a little smaller than most of the RTH I've seen so far. So I figured I'd put it to the group. I sas loosing the light to some clouds closing in, so the shots are little dark. Thanks for the help guys.

Red-tail. It has the dark carpal bar and a belly-band.
And a red tail (photo #1). |
