Peregrine attack

Just been out for a blustery walk along the coast.
I saw a some peregrines, one male and one female.
Id never seen the two together in flight before. The size difference is almost unbelievable.
A little bit further along on my walk, I saw a common buzzard. I was looking at it in my bins and then suddenly, whoosh, the female peregrine came swooping past. The buzzard reacted at the last second and flipped itself upside down and put its talons out. The peregrine mist.
It used the speed it had built up to regain height and then it came down for another try. After the second near miss the buzzard quickly decided to retreat very fast.
Must have come to close the territory.
It made me think of this video on YouTube > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hpz66RYD110
Luckily for the buzzard, it didn’t end this way.
