Alternatively if you prefer to buy one - a bit more expensive but maybe easier to carry around/read - I bought a Coolpix 990 manual on Ebay recently for just under £3 including p&p and I'm pretty sure I saw a manual for a 4500 there too at that time. Might be worth a look.
