Try this shorebird!

Here a photo of a shorebird at Pointe Mouillee, MI. It was taken late last August. Take a guess!

What's with the red line - is it radioactive or something!?

Suppose I should have a guess so I'll say Semipalmated Sandpiper. I wonder if it's a bit long-legged though.

Its probably a Calidrid :)

I'd start trying to prove its not a Dunlin!

Does the line round it mean it's dead?

I'd guess Spotted Sandpiper.

Okay everyone, I guess I made that one too hard. It's a Baird's Sandpiper.

P.S. The red line is so you can see it! I thought you might not be able to see it! (I really do underestimate your vision!)

P.S.S. That picture was taken with my Canon Camcorder, which is a piece of TRASH!

Here's another hard bird! (Well, at least from the angle.) This photo was taken last July in Beverly Hills, MI.

Please note: I did not circle it!

Grousemore, it is NOT a shorebird. The first one was, but this is a passerine. (Perching bird)

Correct Joern! The reason it is so rusty is that it was a juvenile.
