Heathfield East Sussex

I am staying in Heathfield East Sussex helping to look after my very elderly Mother in Law.
I am a male aged 68 and a keen birder only recently coming back to the hobby.
I am looking for a car driving companion to explore the many good birding places in East Sussex and the surrounding area.
Considering full or part day trips possibly with picnic. I would pay half the petrol.
Any takers?
