Serra Antwren

Formicivora serrana ssp. interposita

Caraca, SE Brazil, October 2011

Not very co-operative, it was a struggle to get half the bird in shot!

Thanks very much Paul.

Whatever you say, it's still a very nice picture.

Hi Delia, Seeing Paul's shot reminded me that I have one of Serra Antwren from Atlantic Rainforest Brazil in Nov 2007.

Hi Stu

A lovely picture. Will this be a different subspecies to Paul's. Excuse my lack of knowledge about Brazilian geography.

Oops, I mis-read the book... my picture is "nom." and Stuart's is interposita (according to Van Perlo's Birds of Brazil).
