Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines.

Slimbridge accommodation
I can't believe this hasn't been asked before, but I can't find it if it has so:
Does anyone have any recommendations for a bed and breakfast/hotel near Slimbridge? I'm looking for value for money as opposed to opulence as the main priority. |

The nearest is The Tudor Arms (walking distance), good food and real ale http://www.thetudorarms.co.uk/accommodation.html but cheaper options are available but further away.

We're stayin at the Alveston Premier Inn next weekend which is 13 miles from Slimbridge and has good reviews. Two nights, Fri/Saturday only £68 for both nights - which should fit the bill for value for money.
