Give to Caesar what is Caesars (already did, he won!) and give to Brock what is Brock's (still waiting...).

Timelands

.
When I look, deep into these grassy woods,
I am struck more by time, than mere sight ever could.
Magnificent old sentinnels, of this harsh brown land,
eeking out a growth ring, whenever they can.

On a scale your mind, just can't comprehend,
you know it's a sign of something greater than you, without beginning or end.
With arms wide open, they've seen your ancestors come and go,
a force of nature, through baking sun, harsh drying winds, flooding rains, even snow.

From ancient red earth, springs ghostly harbour so grand,
rough bark shed over centuries, lends soil a life-giving hand.
A living message larger than life, like a lost limb that you cannot ignore,
your time here is irrelevant, you must respect our mother, and submit to her lore.

I managed to see 80000 Barnacle Geese at the weekend, but I couldn't make out the peeps which were at the extreme range of my old bins. Perhaps if I win some ZEN RAYs I'll be in with a chance next time.

Another lovely Spring morning.
Here's a conundrum: why is BBC Springwatch on in late May, when Spring has almost ended?
