Newcon Optik Image-Stabilised binoculars, anyone?
I happened upon a website of this Canadian-based outfit. It was full of helicopters and khaki and manly voiceovers, as though they won't sell to you unless you intend invading someplace. But the IS binos looked interesting. One is a non-battery 20x50 model. Has anyone ever seen these?

Hi - I seem to recall these being discussed on Cloudynights but the feeling was that they were not the best - small effective aperture and poor coatings... Have just found the threads:
