Hi. I'll be travelling to Holland and Germany in the middle of March and will only realistically have a couple of days to bird in each country. We'll be in Echt in southern Holland for 5 days and in southern Bavaria (Fuerstenfeldbruck) for 5 days visiting family. I'll probably need to limit sites to something which can be reached in 1.5 hrs or less. There's a lot listed out there for Bavaria.... what are the high points in your opinions? Also, I'm coming up empty regarding NL.
And then, of course, there's the weather.... One more thing, I would dearly love to see a Dipper. When I first set eyes on a Am. Dipper, I fell in love with it and if there's one bird that I really don't want to miss seeing, it's the European Dipper.
