probable dunlin on Crete - but pale legs?

As the caption says, I sure this is a dunlin, and I know they can be variable with plumage, beak length etc, but can they have pale legs? Little-ringed plover left in photo to help with size comparison. Any thoughts please.

Hi there,
This bird is a Ruff, still more or less in winter plumage, the head and bill shape together with the leg colour are good for that species.
Regards,
Harry
