ID Vulture 1350m Nepal
Is this problematic picture good enough to say whether it is yes/no an Eurasian Griffon Vulture or something else? Shot above my hotel in Tansen, central Nepal, at 6pm, so the rufousy colors might be from sunset.
There was also a Himalayan Vulture close by and a Red-headed Vulture later on. Thanks for any comment. |

Not an easy one apparently. Not all bad news, as this is just one of many vultures seen by and others in Nepal during these weeks, so lets hope their numbers are indeed going up (and the numbers of people with answers as well) Arend |
