case/harness

So I bought a pair of the Primes and want to make sure that I have them protected when I go out hunting. I have a harness that I am currently using with a pair of Alpen 16x52, and I could you those, but they don't do anything for protecting the optics. I've looked at the Badlands, Sitka's and Lockdowns. Do you all have any suggestions? Will all these fit the Primes? Thanks for the help. I'm excited to get the Primes in my hands. These will be my first(only?) pair of high quality binoculars.

I have the lockdown and tried it on the prime HD. It works very well.

Yes, I recommend Lock-down harness too. Make sure it's the larger one. Also, do not attach the metal keychain ring to the neckstrap anchor on the binoculars. The metal-to-metal contact can cause damage to your binoculars. Instead, using a flexible tie-wrap.

I have the S4 Lockdown and the Badlands. The Lockdown provides good protection and is quicker to deploy. The Badlands provides better protection but is slower to deploy as well as being more expensive. The Badlands, although a bit bulkier, has a built in lens cloth, inside pockets for other items and a zip out pouch on the back that accomodates a hydration bladder.

Both are quality, well designed and comfortable. I use them both for different situations.

Thank you for the replies. I will have to try them all out......at the end of this week when I get my Primes. Can't wait. There is a local company that sells the Sitka and Badlands, and then I can check out the Lockdown at the local Wholesale Sports. My one concern about the Lockdown is when I'm out hunting. If I'm out belly crawling around, will they be protected enough, granted, a pair of binos on your chest wont ever be comfortable when you're down on your belly.

Thanks again for the responses.
