Hello, (Kamran?),
I am a new user myself, just joined yesterday, and I like what I found on this forum very much so far. I never was in Iran, but I am originally from Russia and I worked 15 years on your border with Soviet Turkmenistan (along Chandir River -- tributary of Sumbar), and I even enjoyed sometimes observing birds above your mountains -- majestic land, -- the same Koped-Dag range as in Turkmenistan. Hello and welcome to the forum.
There seems to be some confusion about your use of "Shiraz" in your post, some have taken it to be your name, while I take it to be your location. I will agree with rollingthunder (Laurie) that Shiraz is a very nice wine, even if most of it that we get here in the USA comes from Australia. Good to have you here, Mike |
