Swarovski EL Range

Cabela's Shooting Catalog arrived today. Only 3 binoculars were advertised.

The Swarovski EL Range models in 8 x 42 and 10 x 42 for $2929.99 and $2979.99 respectively. They aren't Swarovison either. They weigh about 2 pounds each.

Also Bushnell Fusion laser rangefinders. 10 x 42 and 12 x 50. $999.99 and $1099.99. 2 lbs and 3 lbs respectively.

Handy to have when you must call in the Artillery.

Also Cabela's 10 x 42 Euro HD. $999.99. By Meopta. Even says they have MeoBrite.

I'd be curious to know if they actually have any of the EL 10x42 Ranges in stock. They're a hot ticket right now. Our shop received one months ago and it went quickly. We've had another 3 on order and are told we should get at least one, maybe two, before hunting season. As of last Friday I was told that if a dealer put in an order now it could be a 12 month wait.

Nothing about any delays is mentioned in Cabelas catalog. They aren't listed in their website either but other EL's are listed as being in (limited) stock except for the 10 x 32 which is back ordered.

The AZ Game and Fish had an Outdoor Expo a couple of months ago and Cabela's was the primary sponsor. Cabela's had a meager binocular display, but it did include one Swarovski EL Range. The Cabela's sales person kept insisting that the EL Range was a Swarovision......ummm. By the way, there was no show sales price. They did have some general dollars off coupons, but I can not recall if they would apply to a Swarovski.
