Which KITE
2 pictures taken of a kite flying over the beach near St. Lucia KZN South Africa in August 2004. Yellow Billed or Black ?????

I'd say yellow-billed, since it appears rather dark, otherwise impossible to say, I guess, because the bill-color isn't visible.

I'd say Black Kite, because the head seems to be rather light coloured. Greyish, en not brown what it should be by a Yellow-Billed. And, but this could also caused by the quality of the photo, in the left photo the bill seems to be rather dark.

Id´also say Black kite- with the same reasoning as Corotauria-grey had and I think that the bill is dark
