Bird sound, Czech republic (center europe; audio)
Hello,
what kind of bird is on this record? It has been doing this sound for a week near my house (usually from 8 pm to 1 am). I am worried that it is abandoned baby bird. Audio: http://chirb.it/NKzhDc I am sorry for my bad english. Thank you very much. <iframe src="http://chirb.it/wp/NKzhDc" width=380 scrolling="NO" frameborder=0>If you can not see this chirbit, listen to it here http://chirb.it/NKzhDc</iframe> |

it sounds like a chick begging for food. if it was abandoned it woouldn't have lasted a week.
guessing by the hour could be an owl??? that said couldn't find anything similar on the attached: http://www.owlpages.com/sounds.php do you have any other owl activity in the area? |
