T0ny that is wonderful that you liked that shot.Sometimes it is hard for me to remain nonchalant about some things. When others see what I did and think it is ok; I am really pleased. Thank you very much.
Brian Currie... see what a wimpy camera can do??? now before anyone misunderstands that statement it is a joke between us ok? Thank you as well. |

A great follow up from your previous eagle picture. Keep it up if not for yourself then for us all. We love them.

Thanks for the generous support, Gaye. If the gallery is truly working, then I will go now and upload the shot I like even more. But you can give me your opinion on which you like more (not that you have to like one over the other).

Paul.... Brian Currie and I have a running joke between us about the cameras we both use. His is the same as my husbands and they both are on the forum for that particular camera.. they both tease me about my new gear.. so the name wimpy is a misnomer but a fun thing we do back and forth.
I have a Canon just like Brian... just that mine is a little different...I use a Canon D60. I am posting some more of my eagle shots as I deleted them thinking that they might just be old hat staying on for too long. I have changed my mind. Glad that you liked the couple of raptors that are there and mine. |

Gaye-
I suspected as much about your camera, after seeing such a superb shot. I would guess that I too will eventually go the DSLR route. So, I meant to ask, were you duly impressed with my Red-tail shot after finding out what I was using ? |

Paul, I was indeed impressed with your photo.. it was a bit soft as you indicated; but having said that I will tell you that a very very good photographer once told me that is not always the best camera that captures a good photograph.. it is being there.. it your eye and how you see things.. it is alot of things in combination.
I liked your photographs.. they said something and if they talk to me, then I will tell you that to me they are then special. To get a shot of a raptor with any camera and have it turn into a memorable frame is what it is all about in photographing these wonderful birds. I look forward to seeing more of your birds Paul. |
