Adapter for Kowa, Which one??

How do I go about getting an adapter to fit my Kowa TSN 821 scope?

What one should I go for, rough cost etc and can it be used if I get a new scope?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Andy

Kowa do their own adapter for the Kowa. I use it on my 823 and find it excellent. Birdnet Ltd of Buxton do the full range of digiscoping adapters for the Kowa.

If you are thinking of changing scopes, maybe the Eagle Eye would be a better bet as it is easier to match to different scopes by swapping the minimum of parts.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Ken

I had the LCE adapter for the 823, but preferred my home made one.

The Eagle Eye design looked very good to me though I never tried it.

Th size of the adapters depends on the eyepiece you are using - let alone different brands of scope. Some will fit more than one brand. Some have different inserts for different eyepieces.

It also of course depends on the camera you intend to use as some have to be mounted using the tripod bush and others can be by a filter thread type adapter.
