Note to self: Remember to check the settings on the camera before you start birding. Very first thing I see appears to be a new tick and I screwed up the photos due to slow shutter from last set-up. At any rate note the dark back, tern like swept wings and facial markings.

Greatly appreciative if anyone can make anything out of this and confirm, or correct, ID.
