I did see a male ruppell's weaver on the walk, so they're definitely around.

No. 3 has quite a heavy bill, I'd suggest a seed-eating species rather than a warbler.

It's possible. The first country checklist I looked at did not list House Sparrow, which influenced my suggestion, but the Avibase one does, albeit as an introduced species. It may be that it has a restricted distribution and I don't know if it's present in this area.

My first thought was House Sparrow, but what about the apparent streaks on undertail covts?
